Ruby, Stanley, Jupiter, and Baby were badly maimed: three of them were left to die on the side of a road. Only Where the Love Is came to their rescue and arranged for the surgeries they so desperately needed. Today, Ruby, Stanley, Jupiter, and Baby are in loving adoptive/foster homes and showing us what true courage is.
We need your help to cover their $50,000 amputation and rehabilitation fees. Please consider donating to assist with all their medical bills. Show 'em some love!

Bones says hi! adopt me
Welcome!

Hi, I'm Bones! Great news! A big-hearted supporter who has been following our relentless quest to find Bones a new home has offered to sponsor our boy's $450.00 adoption fee. This amazing donation comes with two very important stipulations: Bones' new family must have a large yard (preferably fenced in) to properly exercise him and older children (or none) who can handle his exuberance. Thank you to this generous donor for wanting to give Bones every chance for a second chance!

Help us keep "The Love" going. Donate today. Any amount you can give, we would appreciate! Our vet bills are over $10,000. We want to continue to save more lives, but need your help. Bones says thank you! Where the Love Is, Inc. (WTLI) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization founded in Hamden, CT in July 2013 and serves communities throughout Connecticut, and beyond.
-
We are dedicated to aiding in the prevention of abuse and cruelty to animals by promoting the adoption of abandoned and unwanted pets and providing those same pets with medical attention, including spaying and neutering.
-
The pets we rescue are often neglected, abused, sick and starving.
-
We ensure all pets are fed, fully vetted, receive love and some training before they are adopted out.
We have rescued and adopted out over 600 dogs and cats throughout Connecticut and beyond, including dogs from shelters in Texas, Louisiana and Georgia. Our shelter is run 100% by volunteers and donations, which means we depend on you.
